Rich Best who was born in Norfolk, VA and raised in Levittown, PA, is the owner of Sunken Treasure Scuba Center. Has been married to his wife Hope since 1973. They have two children, Travis who you can also find around the store most of the time and Colin who stops in from time to time. Rich was certified in 1975 through PADI, NAUI and YMCA. In 1978 he opened Sunken Treasure Scuba Center (STSC). He graduated from PADI International College in San Diego, CA in 1979 and became a PADI Master Instructor in 1988. In 1992 he became a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. 2013 Rich received the SSI Platinum Pro5000 award from SSI (Scuba Schools International). Qualified to teach over twenty PADI specialties and DAN O2, you'll always find him around the store or a local dive site in the spring, summer and fall.  Diving is his Lifestyle not just a job.  Contact Rich
